It is very unusual for me to post twice in one day, but I need to send this out today, because another legend has passed on to another plane. I heard the news this morning that Leonard Nimoy is no longer physically among us, but I am certain that his spirit will be with us for a very, very long time. So as you travel on to where many have gone before, here is my own version of your iconic and timeless split-finger salute. Farewell, Leonard.

Your flower strikes me as the cowling and some propellers of an old-time airplane. That’s a connection to flying, even if not in outer space.
I thought this would be a fitting salute, and I like your perceived analogy very much.
Love this post.
I really appreciate that, Laura. Getting lost in preparing it was a fine meditation.
You’re so welcome. I love that feeling of focus.
I love the floral Vulcan salute. :)
Why, thank you, Emily! I have you to thank for the idea of doing that. I’m pleased with how it turned out as well. Hope all’s well with you guys!
