This little fellow joined me in my workspace in my work shed a few days ago and seemed to be quite happy to be moved out into the garden via a few handy lawn flowers (the diameter of the white one is about 3/4 of an inch, or a bit under 2 centimeters)—in fact, he apparently couldn’t wait to be outside again, as he only gave me enough time for three quick photos before he was off into the green. Happily, one of them gave me enough detail to work with. He’s a Trite parvula, with the delightful common name of “house hopper.”

The yellow, green, and white color scheme of the photo makes a lovely backdrop for your little friend — and I do mean ‘little!’
I thought they worked out really well, and they were so wonderfully handy.
Your picture doesn’t seem trite, even if the spider’s genus is Trite.
He may have been a wee sprite, but his genus name rhymes with “mighty.”
It seems might flighty to rhyme Trite with nightie.
Nothing trite about this little spider dude nor the picture. At least you got a couple of shots off. Many times getting even one when moving someone is a challenge.
It was a very close call. I only had a few seconds and then he was off into the garden green.
