Flashback Friday: Grunewald Path

For the first offering in my new Flashback Friday project, I’d like to go back to my early days of serious interest in photography.  It was springtime in West Berlin, around 1970, and one of my favorite places to walk on weekends was in a large section of forest called the Grunewald.  The path I’d chosen on this lovely, calm day curved along next to a little waterway.  My camera was a Pentax Spotmatic, the lens a Pentax 50mm/F 1.4, the film Ilford HP5.   I don’t believe I had a tripod with me.  I can still smell the spring air!
