Serenity Sunday: Black Swans

I returned a few days ago from a week of fishing for trout in Lake Otamangakau, in the Taupo District of New Zealand’s North Island. It was a success in many ways, and I was delighted to find many beautiful black swans (with white wings) sharing the lake with me. From the lake, it is possible to see all three of the volcanic mountains in the nearby National Park; the snowy one in the background is the crown of Mount Ruapehu.
