My post with the photo of my Jack-O’-Lantern for this year is late, but rest assured that it was ready and on display in time for the young neighborhood Hallowe’en trick-or-treaters. And, on another note, I am happy to report that the medical matter turned out to be far less serious than it might have, and I should soon be back to normal activities. Very soon!

Sounds like good news on the medical front :)
Yes, indeed it is. We are very relieved!
Good news on the medical front is always welcome. Take care, Gary.
I thank you for your kind thoughts, Mike. We certainly are!
I’ve still never carved a pumpkin. That’s on my to do list for next Halloween
It’s great fun. My favorite carving tool is a slim fish-filleting knife.
Glad things turned out well and what you were concerned about was not the case, Gary.
That’s for sure, and it’s good to be (slowly) getting back to normal again!
It’s always good when things work out for the better — or the best. Even the Jack-o-Later seems to have the beginnings of a smile. I’m glad!
That’s not the beginning of a smile; that’s the full-fledged imago!
Excellent news >>> great stuff, my friend!!!
It surely is (excellent news). I’ll be back in the saddle in a few heartbeats, pardner!
Good news, Gary. Great to see you back!
I couldn’t agree more–thanks very much, M!
