One of CD’s favorite flowering plants is a small rose bush close to our front door. Its blossoms have been particularly elegant this year. She favors them when they’ve matured to the white stage, but they first appear in pastel yellows, and this is when I like them best. I caught this one the other morning after an overnight rain.

I do enjoy flowers that change color through stages, but I’d especially enjoy this one, since yellow and white are favorites. The photo’s lovely — dew or rain drops always add that special something.
It really helps to have an overcast sky and a lack of whippy breezes, too.
“I caught this one the other morning after an overnight rain.” That rain must have made it frisky, but I’m glad you ran after it and were able to grab a hold of it before it got away.
Hey, one does what one can with what one has. I’m grateful that my new knee was up to the chase.
morning dew on a summer rose so beautifully captured~what could be better?
Not much, I agree. Flowers are certainly one of the most magical wonders of our plant kingdom. And, yes, a little dew brings out the magic even more.
