And now for something way different–It wasn’t really all that cold, but the weather gods were sending us snow and sleet, accompanied by considerable wind. Nevertheless, something totally unexpected came into my mind yesterday and whispered that it was time to grill outdoors again and to make my locally-legendary cheeseburgers, accompanied by homemade potato chips. How could I not rise to the challenge?I’ve grilled under much harsher conditions in the past, but it was still an adventure, and what I’ve now come to call the brrrrrgers turned out great. My tummy is still smiling! [Photo credit goes to CD.]

Oh Gary, how you make me smile :). You also made me hungry LOL. What an awesome photo!
Keep smiling, Cindy. Wish I could make you one!
😃
Double Onions in mine please!
Yessir, coming right up!
Mhhhhhhhhhhhh homemade potato chips :D Hubby likes to grill too – no matter which weather or season ;) PS Ich fang direkt an zu frieren, wenn ich den ganzen Schnee da sehe :D
Another man after my own heart!
That’s dedication to your brrrgers
Yes, that I have, and it pays off.
Love home-made chips, but really……….your burgers would have to be absolutely awesome to warrant standing in the snow cooking them :)
My burgers absolutely are absolutely awesome. In fact, I’m considering a follow-up post in which I give you my recipe…
I don’t do burgers or brrrrgers much, but I do grill steaks throughout the winter. My snowblower route includes a path to the grill…that is, it would if we actually had snow.
My winter grilling is, as is yours, is usually restricted to steak as well, but something moved me this time, and they were so good that I’m sure I’ll do it again (and again).
Nice. That’s real dedication to your craft and sounds delicious. If there were only a way that you could send some of the smell of the cooking burgers to us all…
That’s a little hard to do, but stay tuned and I’ll tell you how I make them. By all means do try it, and let me know how they turn out for you!
Wonderful shot, Gary – good to see you! Adrian :)
Yup–not quite a selfie, but the next-best thing!
