Warm Winter Wishes (1): Hot dog!

Especially after having recently visited warmer climes, I am relentlessly drawn to images that transport me back to warmer times. I suspect that I will be bringing you more in days to come, so consider this fair (weather) warning! I am using this as the first in a new category. Although I’m tempted to revisit other posts—including yesterday’s—that have had this general theme, and add links to them, I’ve decided to let resting dogs lie.

Hot dog! 1513This is one from August 2012. Clear sky, calm conditions, temperature in the high 90s, and basking in the sun with our last dog, the amazing Limo. He now rests very close to this spot. His love for the summer is clearly reflected in his smile, and—especially if you too are struggling with sanity in the winter doldrums—I hope it brings you one as well!

  1. I can hear the familiar canine ‘panting’ from here! (-:

  2. Nice, Gary. Double duty as a reminder of warmer days and your beloved Limo.
