Peachy progress

It may seem that I’ve been crawling around on my belly for days, searching out the tiny blossoms emerging from the ground, but I’d like you to know that I’ve been looking high as well as low. Our little peach tree behind the house put out its first ones yesterday and I was able to get one clean shot today, between breezes.Peach 9615

    You did well, Gary.
Little flowers and leaves are not easy to photograph in the wind.

It’s probably my imagination, but I used to think the wind drops slightly every 7th gust (or count to 7 slowly) – lol.

I seem to remember something similar about how many waves to count until a larger one (to surf on) appears–it was even 7 or 9. This was way too high for a tripod, so I had to rely on standing as still as I could and burst shooting, and later picking out the sharpest one from the dozen or so shots.

  2. Beautiful and perfect!

Lovely! I’m anxiously awaiting my pear tree to bloom! The buds have arrived!
