  1. I have noticed that once I uncheck the “Notify me of follow-up comments via email” on a blogger’s post, it remains unchecked for all future blog posts from that person. I just have to remember to uncheck it the first time I make a comment on a new blogger’s post. For instance, I had unchecked it on your blog a few posts ago and today it remains unchecked. It’s a bother that first time, though.

      Yes, you’re right of course, but you shouldn’t have to un-check that box at all. The default setting should be un-checked. You should only be receiving comments on comments if you actively check the box and ask for it. Even after I first noticed the same thing, I kept forgetting to un-check the box as a new part of my routine for commenting on others’ photos. Now my daily in-box is much more reasonable.
