Disclaimer: I hereby certify, and give assurance to one and all, that no animal (or person) was harmed, injured, damaged, bothered, or otherwise inconvenienced in any way before, during, or after the making of this photograph. The implied pending action never occurred, nor was there ever any intention of carrying it out. Fizzy continued resting and purring peacefully. The apparent frown on her face is her normal expression. The Scrabble game continued, as unaffected by the family’s temporary antics as was she, who remained totally oblivious of the transient frivolity.

Absolutely love the idea… it did make me laugh!!
Actually, “danger” was the second thought. The first had more of a canine slant to it and one letter fewer…
Very funny post. The description really makes it! :-)
I worked on that description for longer than you’d think. I wanted to take special care to be sure that NO one took it too seriously–and I didn’t want anyone involved with PETA to think that I was making fun of their work, either!
Absolutely hilarious post. I laughed out loud!! I would have loved to have seen a follow up picture of her expression if you had flicked her, but I know you would never do that! :)
I surely wouldn’t–and neither would my daughter, whose hand seemed to have the idea of its own accord. Had she completed the flick, her finger would no longer have been either as delicate or as intact!
Can’t be much danger since danger is only 8 points (unless you play triple-word). Love this photo and the description!
Oh, you’d be surprised. The implied danger is not to Fizzy but to the finger. If the flick had actually been executed, she would have had great difficulty getting it out of danger’s way in time! And thanks for liking the description–I put a fair bit of fun time into its composition.
I like the expression on her face…so funny :) Your cat is very beautiful and I like those yellow eyes. It looks a lot like my cat, only mine is white with gray spots and very lazy :)
Very lazy–yup, that’s why she reminded you of yours, because she is, too. Quite the old biddy kitty actually, with a sore elbow, so she moves slowly and carefully. She’s delighted to hear that you liked her photo!
Awww – that s so cute ..he he ;) By the way, I like Scrabble ;)
Sometimes she’s really cute, but sometimes…
What a great Silly Saturday image! Love it! Fizzy is adorable! I love Silly Saturday photos. Thank you!
How kind of you, Katie–delighted that you found it so much fun! I am really having a great time with the Silly saturdays, and have a number of new ones lined up. But it’s so long between Saturdays!
I’m a great cat lover and I like it, Gary – glad you weren’t put off posting it! Adrian
So am I, Adrian. Thanks for your input prior to my publishing it–I really appreciate it!
