They sure can take some fantastic shapes. The ones that grow in green ones are usually green, too, but in others they can be part green, red, orange, abd/or yellow. I always get a smile when I find a new one.

Oooh, I’m going to have to try that game. We eat lots of bell peppers too. In fact, my hubby is making stuffed peppers at this very moment for supper tonight. Yummy!!! Your game with the peppers reminded me of how much I used to love playing the cloud game with my kids when they were little. We used to lay on the ground and watch the big, fluffy clouds floating by, each of us trying to find one that looked like a real object, animal or person :).

All of these colors were within the embryo of one small orange pepper. The extra growths are really fascinating, and they appear in maybe 5% of the peppers. They’re well worth watching for!
